Dominican church - one of the most renowned in Fizenze was build in 1246. The construction of the nave and side-aisles started in 1279 and building was finished in the middle of 14th century in the typically Florentine Romanesque-Gothic style. After the middle of 15th century Leno Battista Alberti completed the central doorway and the upper section of facade. The garden laid out along the right side of the church is surrounded by tombs called "avelli"
