Colosseum 
is  the largest  amphitheatre build 
in  Rome - Symbol of  Romanism. 
It   was  the  work   of   emperors   Flavium  and   was for this reason called Amphitheatre Flavium. 

Works began in the early years of Vespasian´s reign, the building was dedicated in 79 AD.  The  Amphitheatre was inaugurated in  80 AD with m magnificent  spectacles  and games which  lasted a hundred says.
