Gubbio

Gubbio northeast of Perugia - medieval town lying at the foot of Mount INGINO which is 980 m above sea level. Gubio itself is 522 m. Well preserved elongated town with parallel roads intersecting  side street and steps. Gubio is rich in memories and testimonies  -  later became  an ally of Roman municipium.  The Roman theatre is the head reminder of the ancient town.
