Lucca - the settlements is dated back to Paleolithic era,  but the birth  of Luca is probably thanks to  the  Etruscans  and Romans. Around 180 BC, Lucca became a Latin  colony and  in 89 BC a  Roman municipality.  Brilliant  years  occurred during  the  first  two  centuries  of the Christian Era, of which there are some superlative  evidences  like  a  circle of walls and the Amphitheatre .
