Basilica
of San Frediano
According to tradition the bishop Frediano himself
in the 6th century founded the primitive church rising in this
area. It tooks the name of San Freudian, when in
the 8th century,
the remains of the bishop-saint were placed in the crypt.

Church
of San Michele
Built in various stages. The lower part
of facade is Romanesque, the upper part is Gothic.
Bell-tower started 12th century, ended in the 19 the century. Made
by white limestone with the statue Saint Michael dominating from
the top.
